"Kees Da Gurl"

I apologize to the two of you who read this for the amount of zero jokes in today's comic...thought I'd toy around with amore comic book style. It's kind of hard. I keep saying this over and over again, but how do the guys who actually DRAW comics do it. Inna suggested that I take a drawing class. Not sure I have the patience for it. I can see the pictures in my head, but I can't execute. Maybe I should try anyway.

"Smelly Good Time"

Several people have mentioned that we are just like an older married couple because we don't really go out or do anything. C'mon people?!?! Tell me that you're ready to party evary day and evary night on the weekends after working a job. It only gets worse when you get older. Give me a hollaback my older-than-me friends.

"The Hike"

This post is relevant to Thanksgiving because Inna and I were out in Griffith Park searching for a real live Tofurky. We were going to go all primal on it and kill it ourselves. Ahh, processed and reformed things are my most favorite things to eat. Seriously though, some of the Morningstar stuff is pretty good.

So, we had band practice this weekend. Things are going great. We know 6 songs. We're ready to play the Staple's center. We're better than you.

"News and Views"

The twentieth comic on the twentieth day of the twentieth month. The month known as November. Hah. Anyway, Inna and I joined/founded a new band called Box of Birds, which prompted the purchase of new instruments...sort of. She'd been wanting a new bass for a long time and I'd been wanting a new guitar for a long time. Finally the time was right. Maybe we'll see you at a show some day.

"Lots of Nothing"

Need to see more NOVA. It needs to be on every night with a new episode every night. I'd be okay forgetting about all my regular shows. Who cares about those shows anyway on TV anyway. People watch shows on the computer now...not TV. Should I get rid of my TV?

"Wish It Was Nap Time"

Ugh. Mondays. It was a good weekend though. We went to see They Might Be Giants at UCLA's Royce Hall on Saturday night. They were fantastic as usual. The entire performance was based on the Flood album. I think it's their weirdest album.

Then on Sunday, we went to see Pirate Radio. It was okay. I get it though, rock music is a big deal. Afterwards we practiced our instruments.

"Rip A New One"

The photos in this comic are actually out of context. Sofya was laughing at someone else's SBV. How do represent a smell in text anyway?

You agree that the awkward silences are the best?

I think this comic is pretty self explanatory...I like beer.

...and then Grandma and Zombie started a rock band together.

Thus concludes the Halloween comics. I promise that I'll figure out how to tell a good continuous story over several strips. See you on Monday.

"Keep It In Mind, Part 1"

Inna decided to be a zombie for Halloween. Not exactly sure what happened, but I found myself with a lot of bite marks the next day. Thankfully I haven't transformed.

"The Worst Halloween"

Didn't really feel Halloween this year, probably because we did the whole dress up thing a week before. Not sure I've ever felt it, but I do enjoy the idea of dressing up and costumes. Guess you can say that people who are opposed to doing anything at all should remove the fingers from their butts too. :)

Well, at any rate, it's always a good excuse to wear my TOS uniform.
